  • Welcome to 'Alternative Communication Approaches', our continuing professional development course suitable for anyone who is wanting to learn about different methods of communication.  The content is appropriate for anyone who is considering supporting children who have learning differences.
    

  • Currently, all Tapestry CPD courses are free for everyone to view!  If you would like to record your progress in courses, you will need to log in to this site with your Tapestry Journal account (full manager and staff accounts only at this time).  Click the 'Log in' link in the top right of this page to do this.  Once you're logged in and return to this page, you will see an orange cog at the top right.  Click this and select 'Enrol me in this course' and then click the orange 'Enrol me' button on the next page.  If you don't have an active Tapestry account, you can learn more about Tapestry, sign up for a 2 week free trial, or purchase a Tapestry package.

  Alternative Communication Approaches (60-90 minutes)

  This module contains two tasks as well as an optional challenge.  There are three articles to read as well as an end of module quiz which will generate a completion certificate if the pass mark is achieved (100%).  There is also an optional podcast to listen to.
